Top extension row doesn't stick

Hi,

I'm using a Galaxy Note. After v1.28rc24: Market release v1.29, the top 
extension row, which appears after sliding up, does not stick. I have to slide 
up every time when using the keyboard to make the top extension row reappear.

The top row is very useful especially in portrait 4-row mode where the numbers 
are large enough to type during on the go. Kindly help to fix this and probably 
great to add enhancement by having a separate portrait and landscape permanent 
settings for top row extension. I have reverted back to v1.29 for now.

Yes, this change was intentional due to people getting the extension keyboard 
getting stuck on unexpectedly with no obvious way to remove it again, but I 
realize that's a regression for people who want it to be present persistently.

I'm planning to change this for the next version with the new mode definition 
logic, so that you can define multiple layout + language combinations and 
switch between them by sliding the space bar. The presence or absence of the 
extension would be one of the mode properties.

I just wanted say please please please add the sticking extension row back. 

a sticking number row is the reason I was searching for new keyboard other than 
the stock one actually.

Now I want to update to the new one you have but I can't and just keep using 
1.28.

Other than that the keyboard is great and your work is truly appreciated.

Hello, I have asked for this before and it seems to still not have been fixed. 
Unless I don't know how to setup it correctly?

I need the top number row to stick. I am still having to use version 1.28 to be 
able to make the top row to stick otherwise it keep disappearing every time I 
use the keyboard.

Please help me wit this. Thank you
