Cant enter * or + #229

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open terminal
2. press shift key
3. press * or +

What is the expected behavior? 
I expect to see * or +
What do you see instead?
Nothing
What version of Hacker's Keyboard are you using? (See "Debug" section at the 
bottom of the app's Settings menu.)
1.29
On what phone or tablet?
Ifotec 7" Android gb
If applicable, does this affect the 4-row or 5-row layout, or both? 
Only tried in 5 row

Which language(s)? English UK

Please provide any additional information below.
Using the Fn entry I can enter *

Sorry about the lack of updates. There was a bug affecting certain terminal 
emulators that should be fixed in current versions, if not please reopen or 
file a new bug.

Bulk update - changing "Fixed" to "Verified" for old bugs.

(Background: I'm changing the "Fixed" status to be considered open, the next 
steps in the lifecycle will be the closed states "FixInTest" and "Verified". 
This lets me mark issues as "Fixed" in commit messages without hiding them from 
the issue tracker.)
