Enhancement for CTRL-DELETE (delete word) #301

English keyboard; version is most recent based on this date.
Using Samsung Galaxy S III (SGH-I747M)

When I went into the keypad/function keys, I tried "CTRL-" keys.
CTRL-HOME/CTRL-END went to the start/end of the document.
CTRL-LEFT/CTRL-RIGHT move by word.

However, CTRL-DEL (DELETE) is not doing anything - the standard is to - delete
the word.

So when you are at the START of a word (say you go CTRL-LEFT here, back to
START) and hit CTRL-DELETE, the entire word "START" would be deleted.

Still reviewing this keyboard but pretty slick.

English Keyboard: Latest version as of date written.
Google Nexus 7

CTRL-BACKSPACE should delete the word to the left of the cursor.

A very important design choice is that when the cursor is in white space,
delete word deletes all the white space until the next word. Then a second
delete word command deletes the actual word. This provides a very valuable
delete white space command at no extra cost.

This would make me a very happy camper!
