Page 3 - where the authors state that "Once human MERS-CoV infections are established, hoever, we find that MERS0CoV is poor at transmitted between humans" some references should be added.

Clarify (in text) that this is an assertion based on our findings rather than a statement of established fact?

I think it's reasonable to change this text slightly. Rather than the original

we find that MERS-CoV is poor at transmitting between humans

it seems safer to say

we find that MERS-CoV, once introduced into humans, follows transient transmission chains that soon abate

The second is what we actually find, the first is an extrapolation.
