Page 5. Your summary statistics are mean, median and standard deviation of cluster size. It seems odd not to have a statistic measuring skewness, given how skew the cluster sizes seem to be. Why did you not use one? Do you think you would have got similar results with one?

With the revisionsEpi notebook this might be solved now. Anyone have strong feelings against switching to N clusters, mean, stdev and skewness as the filters?

I have mild feelings. As long as you keep the "old" ones for comparison, I'm ok. I just want to be sure something crazy is not going to pop out because we switched "filters". And remember I bet your scientific reputation on skewness not mattering. .. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I like this a lot. The only thing that seems possibly missing is that current figure 3 (mers_epi) now shows mean and skewness in the scatterplot. We don't get to ever see standard deviation. This may be okay. I don't have a good solution here.
