Take a look at this. I switched to follow Frost and Volz 2010, though Koelle and Rasmussen 2011 gives nearly identical results. Frost and Volz was more elegant in the explanation and did improve upon the original logic I believe. This also caught a factor of 2 error that existed because of serial interval vs duration of infection. It should be 20 day duration of infection = 20 day serial interval, not as 20 day duration of infection = 10 day serial interval as I originally had it.
