Confusing interaction for tree zoom #100

Multiple users, including @codeanticode and @vnminin, have expressed unhappiness over the the "reset layout" button being the only way to zoom out of the tree. Could experiment with a Google Maps style compass to adjust x and y zoom and to pan the tree? Alternatively, maybe we could add a glyph to the root node of the zoomed in tree (like a left arrow or something) that can be clicked to zoom out?
