Plugins fail to load in Ardour

I'm attempting to load the Beat Slicer and Beat Repeater plugins into Ardour 5.12.0 and it fails to load. In the log window I get this error message;

[ERROR]: LV2: "Beat Slicer - Stereo" port 2 has no known data type

IIRC, you need a host supporting CV, like Ingen.

Exactly, those plugins are designed for Ingen - I wouldn't be aware of another host where they would work.
