Move to python 3 #15

Major blocker for this is dependence on HTSeq, which is python2 only and unlikely to be upgraded

Good news - as of 0.7.2 around last March, HTSeq added support for python 3.4+. Is this issue is still under consideration? I saw more recent work on mucor2 but couldn't tell if that was intended as a rebuild for Python 3 or for other reasons.
