Development workflow

Some suggestions for todos:

• [x] create develop branch -- establish a git "workflow" (e.g. new code and changes to develop branch first and merge into master when stable)

GruntJS workflow:

• [x] .pot file generation
• [x] .po to .mo conversion
• [x] asset minification

About the use of Scrutinizer, although I appreciate its potential usefulness, I believe that its cost is not affordable for this type of project.

As for GruntJS, I'll try it. Could you point me to some resource (article / code samples) specific to WP plugin development?

Scrutinizer is free for open-sources so the cost should not be the hurdle here :-) There is not really anything specific to WP in the GruntJS workflow. Just have a look at resources for your system on how to set it up and use. There modules for everything. Some plugins using grunt:
