Compact Layout - Vertical Panel Spacing/Margins and Icon Size #155

Closed jotapesse closed 5 months ago

Hi! I'm using a vertical panel in floating mode. The Weather Widget icon on the panel seems to have too high spacing vertically between other widgets/icons on the panel. Top and bottom. Doesn't look too bad but seems to waste too much space on the panel and comparing to others. Not critical but something to improve?

With updated widget release 3.0.3 for Plasma 6 the compact layout is not as good as before, I would like to see it improved if possible. I'm using a 68px width vertical panel and would prefer the previous compact layout with a bigger icon and the temperature overlayed on top of it (bottom right). Also the "updated Xm ago" note should be kept in one line only at the bottom and with a smaller font. I hope this feedback helps!

Hi! The Weather Widget v3.0.4 for Plasma 6 release seems to improve the weather icon size and fix the "updated Xm ago" note to one line only. Much better now. I think this issue can be closed now. Thank you!
