With MariaDB-11.4 now GA test this with a lts tag.
Take the quay.io/mariadb-foundation/mariadb-devel images so compatibility errors can be found before MariaDB releases.
Use the healthcheck.sh script in the MariaDB container to determine if ready.
Use mariadb client in the container as newer containers will no longer have mysql.
