BlackBerry Dynamics SDK v9 #15

in the documentation is mentioned that the package support BlackBerry Dynamics SDK for iOS v8.1 and BlackBerry Dynamics SDK for Android v8.1.

does BlackBerry-Dynamics-React-Native-SDK support BlackBerry Dynamics SDK 9?

Hi @orlandodemauro. Yes, BlackBerry-Dynamics-React-Native-SDK supports BlackBerry Dynamics SDK for iOS and Android v9.0. @MSohm I'll create a pull request with appropriate updates to README.

@volodymyrtaliar thank you :) another quick question if you don't mind. it is not really clear to me if to use bb dynamics i just need to install the IOS SDK and then the react native SDK or do i need as well to follow the "existing app" setup described here https://developers.blackberry.com/us/en/resources/get-started/blackberry-dynamics-getting-started.html?platform=ios#step-3. I'm using a bare workflow expo app.

You'll need to install the React Native SDK as well as that BlackBerry Dynamics iOS and Android SDKs. You do not need to follow those existing app steps, the ones you linked to are for native apps only. Instead, follow the instructions in the React Native readme.

@MSohm thank you for your reply. I asked because following the instruction in the READMe is not possible to run the app, i just tried again from scratch but the build fails. I was able to run the app only adding manually the frameworks required, as described in the link i sent. i don't know what i'm doing wrong

@MSohm closing this as it works now. i was missing the requirement of running $ yarn set-bundle-id the (OPTIONAL) on the right got me confused.

BTW I was also able to install it in a native app created using expo bare workflow, I had to change the scripts. I can open a PR with the changes needed to integrate it in an expo project if you want.

Thank you for the offer. Please do open a PR with these changes as well as instructions for the expo version. We'll take a look and decide how we want to integrate this (as a separate branch, readme updates, etc...).
