Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install VS2012 on Win 64bit and Bundle 195 [2.0.0018] VSNDK plugin. 2.Deploy multiple applications on to the Simulator. 2 instances 3.Delete the applicaitons on the simulator. no instllers 4.Shutdown the simulator and restart it. after restart

Observe that the deleted applications are shown on the simulator.

This is not supposed to happen. Could you confirm that the simulator was really restarted (by using the reset option from VMPlayer: Virtual machine -> Power -> Reset -> Yes)? I am asking because if you try to shutdown the simulator, it will ask you if you want to "suspend" the session, and not reset it. If you click yes, you are not restarting the simulator, but just used the hibernate-like mode.

I have selected Player->Power->Shut Down Guest and also verified Player->Power->Restart Guest. Deleted apps are shown in both the scenarios.

bug

I could not find Virtual Machine ->Power -> Reset option.

Encountered the same issue in Win 8.1 with VS2013 using Bundle 195[2.0.0018] plugin in the above 2 scenarios ("Shut Down Guest" and "Restart Guest").

This issue is reproducible. However, it is not a VS plugin issue and it will be assigned to the right team.

tested with 3.0.0001 plugin and this issue is reproducing.

KIL: Description. Deployed apps will sometimes reappear on the device after doing a delete and then device restart.
KIL: Work Around; NA - You don't necessarily need to delete applications as each deploy over writes the last.
