I would like to hear from you about some of the open-source repositories used by other developers, such as StubbedMock, and why they suddenly disappeared from GitHub.
It would be good to understand the following:
what was preventing you from keeping the repositories publicly available?
why were the missing repositories not archived instead?
were you aware of the licenses those repositories were licensed under?
were you aware that hiding repositories breaks external hyperlinks and tooling that relies on those repositories being available?
how do you plan to mitigate the loss of value for your existing and ex employees when it comes to taking away community contributions?
If you can share the blog post or a keynote explaining this change of direction, that would be very useful too.
