Thanks for the great idea. I have used this in my project and developed it further. I noticed it hasn't been updated for a long time. Hope this helps.

Features

Slide speed detect: now the panel will animate to a more properiate place based on slide speed and end position
Curved animation: It looks more like Discord (Based on my personal feeling)
