Obsidian logos displayed by documentation pages are using the old "Gemmy" logo from 2023 and earlier.

These can be updated to the new logo by replacing docs/assets/obsidian.png with an equivalent PNG.
Using an SVG works great too; it just requires an update to logo and favicon in mkdocs.yaml.

I did email Obsidian Support to ask if there'd be any trademark issues with using the new logo:

What's the general protocol for how the Obsidian logo can be used on the web by non-commercials? For example: in documentation pages, on websites of plugin authors, etc.
I'd love to update the old logo on blacksmithgu's Dataview website, where it's being used as a banner icon and a favicon. Is this broadly considered fair use, as long as the page doesn't imply an official partnership?
They confirmed a small disclaimer would cover all bases:

You can use it for this purpose as long as you include a visible disclaimer on any materials that you are not affiliated with or representative of Obsidian/Dynalist Inc. 🙂
