Update Oberwald theme to make it compatable with the current WP version

The current theme was developed way back when Wordpress was still in version 
2.1! it has been patched and fiddled with but it needs an overhaul to introduce 
the new features that wp now uses (and replace some depreciated code).

This is not going to be a re-design or restructure of the site, simply a 
refresh of the code within the theme to bring it up to standard.

Part of this will be introducing custom menu slots, some will be for more 
widget areas and some will be for usability enhancements (better previous / 
next links on pages).

From playing around with the new features, I might also have to re-write the 
comments section of the site!

two of the key features will be custom post formats and editor styling. these 
will be implemented as seperate issue items. Its also worth going over the 
current Theme guidelines:

Nearly complete, need to add styling from admin, and the banner image at the 
top of the page for easy replacement.

Also need to turn the main Nav menu into a custom menu. Adjustments to CSS may 
be required.
