To expand on this, numerous blocks from Forestry don't seem to have visible recipes. The following items seem to have no recipes in NEI:

• Farm Blocks of all kinds
• All crated items
• All electron tubes and circuit boards
• All machine blocks (Engines, Carpenter, Thermionic Fabricator, Centrifuge, Squeezer, etc, etc)
• The mailbox blocks
• Chests (Arborist's Lepidopterist's, Apiarist's)
• Analyzer, Escritoire, Apiary, Bee House
• Beealyzer, Imprinter, Treealyzer, Flutterlyzer
• Woven Backpacks (basic backpacks work fine)
• Hardened and Impregnated casing (Sturdy casing works fine)
• Scented paneling, Woven Silk, Ice Shard, Impregnated Stick
• Forestry's stained glass variants
• All Forestry liquids (short mead, ethanol, biomass, fruit juice, seed oil, etc)

The items do seem to be craftable, at the very least I was able to use the wiki entry recipe to build a Thermionic Fabricator.
