When I run this command; transrate --assembly transcripts.fa --left left.fq --right right.fq

I get: Dependencies are missing:

salmon (0.6.0) You are running the packaged version of transrate This comes with the read-metrics dependencies pre-installed

If I run versioncontrol on transrate or salmon, I get the correct version;

transrate --version 1.0.3

salmon -v version : 0.6.0

Any suggestions?

I wrote a solution for such issue here
