GameCube Games doesn't work on CFG r41 with NTFS device #77

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run CFG USB LOADER MOD r41
2. Set System -> DML Version -> DM 2.2+, on the Game set NMM -> "On" and NoDisc
-> "On"
3. Run the game... DUMP!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to play with the GC game, but I see a Dump page

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
CFG USB LOADER MOD r41, the last one

It is too long. How can I give you the entire code dump? Can I save it to the
SD card?

The Code Dump appears with the new version of CFG USB Loader MOD too. :(

Try r43.
You know that the first partition on your hdd needs to be a FAT32 partition for
DIOS MIOS?

I use an SD Card to host the CFG Usb Loader MOD and an entire NTFS HDD (not
FAT32+NTFS) for backup games.

I think is better.

Ok, than you must use DIOS MIOS Lite, the games will automatically copied to
the SD card before launch.
DIOS MIOS cannot play games from NTFS.

Why on the r41 version wrote:

"-read GC games from all partitions (ntfs, fat32, sd)" ?

There is any way to play GC's games from NTFS partition or not?

The loader can read and display GC games from NTFS.
But the loader is not responible to run the game, this is the part of DIOS MIOS.
DIOS MIOS does not support NTFS.
So, for now, there is no way to play GC games from NTFS patitions (without WODE
or similar chips).

ok, now i understand thank you for your time! I now use FAT32 and NTFS and it's
all ok.

Ok, I understand and I add, for other users, that the FAT32 partition MUST HAVE
32Kb for Cluster maximum.

The Issue 77 can be closed.

Thank You!
