My only suggestion is to create a minimum-pressed-time requirement, so it doesn't flash on my screen any time I use the shortcuts. It should show up only when I intend to look at it by holding command down for e.g. 0.5s

Thanks for the feedback! I'm submitting an update to the extension store soon with your feedback and some other features like adding your own shortcuts. It might take a while to go through the approval process though.

Looks like the update was published, I think the link should be the same for you, if you go to chrome-extension://fpminkfnndfokkmoobbngdpnijbcajkl/options.html

Then you can control how much of a delay you use. Hope this helps :)
