No Call Pop-ups -- (using PSTN Phone Lines) #162

Hi Blake

I have encountered this scenario.

I am using a community version of SugarCRM 6.5.16 with YAAI 3.6.9 on CentOS 6.4 64 bit VMWare These are my problems

a.)I have no call pop-ups b.)My CLI is properly working c.)Calls are always assigned to "administrator" instead of the proper assignment

I do not have call pop-ups. I can see in my Call Activity Sheet that activities such as Inbound and Outbound calls are recorded. But there are no definitive info on the activities such as details of the caller an numbers being called that are being recorded. Also it says it is incoming/outgoing call in limbo.

Here is also what I got from my CLI

Found this in asterisk CLI Logs

An example possible log

Looking for user extension number in: SIP/147-00000304 Channel Matched SIP/### style regex. Ext is:147

What could be the problem?

  1. It's not relating to your user because noone has extension 147 configured. That's also probably why you don't have call popups.
Channel Matched SIP/### style regex. Ext is:147
+++ findUserByAsteriskExtension(147)
! Assigned user will be set to Administrator.
  1. In limbo is usually a bad sign... what version of asterisk are you using?
  2. For phone numbers to show up you need to add the asterisk callerid field to your layouts.

1.) I am using Asterisk 1.8.11.0 on a elastix-system 2.3.0.12 2.) I have checked my layout here as per procedure on step 5

Step 5: Add New User Fields to User Layouts Follow the instructions below based on your sugar version. For 6.4+, the User layout is now configurable in studio.

  1. Open Studio
  2. Open User -> Edit View Layout
  3. Create a new panel and copy over the 3 new fields: Asterisk Extension, Magic Dial, Call Notification.

\ I only see Magic Dial and Call notification** What could be the problem sir? sample

It's Personal Extension(s). Name changed to Personal Extension(s) if you could update the wiki that'd be helpful.

Start with simplest case...

  1. Do an outbound call. See if that works.
  2. Do an inbound call to an extension with no follow me etc.

Are you getting In Limbo in those cases?

Also, when you first connect what AMI version does it say? 1.1?

As of the moment

When I started assigning an extension to a user (I assigned 212 for Administrator)

1.) With the case of outbound call, it already pop's out with the number you have information such as the number you have dialled, It gives the capability or add it as a contact or relate to a contact. 2.) For the case of an inbound call whether using mobile or an outside landline, it gives the message (BLOCKED) Do an inbound call to an extension with no follow me etc - results are no pop-ups but it is no longer in limbo
it says inbound held.

3.) Yes it says AMI Version 1.1

but when I try this to another user, assigned to a different extension number, none of the first 2 above scenarios happen

No Pop-ups, calls are always assigned to the administrator even though that user have dialled his own extension for the above scenarios. stats as of 11-13-2013 1108am outbound blocked incoming landline and cellphone

@skyflak3s I don't really know honestly... maybe try reverting back to an older version like 2.6.0b or 3.5.5 and see if they work any differently.

Are you PSTN or VOIP? Sounds like there is something a little different about your setup then everyone elses... You could compare your asterisk log output to the ones on the wiki pages.

Yes I am using a PSTN I do not have yet a VOIP Thanks I'd give a look at my asterisk setup

By the way what you meant by 2.6.0b or 3.5.5 was it YAAI or my asterisk machine?

I'm saying maybe those versions will work with your asterisk box... the older versions did work with PSTN for sure... maybe we broke something.

a.) Old Instance (SugarCRM with no callinizer module but with other modules Turnkey Version) b.) New Instance (SugarCRM that has callinizer module, CENTOS 6.4)

I was tasked by the management to import the users and data from the old to new instance.

I followed the procedure from here http://support.sugarcrm.com/04_Find_Answers/02KB/02Administration/100Migration/Moving_Sugar_to_Another_Server

The modules from the old server was also became part of the importation. (I did not expect it to be but I saw it on the module loader).

Here is the rundown of the story.

1.) I would just like to ask, - is outbound held a good sign ?(This was seen on my new instance before but still have no legit users nor data I mean just the users I created)

2.) As I tried importing my old data from my old CRM instance (SugarCRM 6.5.15 - Turnkey) to the one that I am doing (SugarCRM 6.5.15 - CentOS 6.4)

The data went in and is now running but when I installed callinizer 3.6.9 - pop-ups do work but it says it is in limbo again. When I tried to associate the imported users with the callinizer plugin, there are pop-ups but logs does not save on the users which the assigned extensions are assigned to.

Is there something that I did wrong here?
