You can see the difference of the two files in my Prusa Slicer preview attached.
My recommendation would be to change the link on the github PSU page to the fixed .stl version since the author of the original "remixed" file doesnt seem to want to fix it

This site: https://sv06.blakadder.com/Upgrades/power-supply/ has linked with linktext "new cover" a not completly ok STL file. The linked .stl file has a gap through the whole thing, others mentioned the same thing in the comments. You can see it here: https://www.printables.com/de/model/443881/comments/920895
