i have an IMG of the hard drive with Frigate 12. is there any way for me to grab folders/files from that IMG file and copy and paste into my existing drive? i can see all the files from v12 but have no idea which folders/files to copy n paste into my HA with v14...

i see the source code is here https://github.com/blakeblackshear/frigate/releases/tag/v0.12.1 how can i tell HA (HA OS on nuc)to install this version of the Add-On instead of v14?

NickM-27 commented 1 week ago

if you restore from a backup it should pull that version specifically

backup

my IMG back up hard drive was from a year ago. too much has changed since then, i dont want to re-config everything, especially hardware. my HA install is backed up nightly BUT those are just config files (yml). it does not contain any v12 install files unfortunately.

you can't as HA controls this, you would need to create your own addon repo with the older file

@NickM-27 looks like my link above is wrong, not compat with my HA OS. i need to install the Frigate-HASS-Addons. there is no v12 release on this page https://github.com/blakeblackshear/frigate-hass-addons :( do you know where i can get the v12 Frigate-HASS-Addons. once i get the source code then i can create my own repo and install v12 from there. thanks so much for your help.
v14 is nice but it uses too much resources on my Celeron. all i need Frigate is for simple person detection to be used for automations.
