3 years ago Not related to the user style as one may think, this also happens in Edge on macOS but the screen capture support didn't allow me to capture the cursor.
Happens me on official client, there's a few pixels of dead space where you get the cursor but the bar doesn't react
Apparently occurs in embedded contexts as well.
At this point, the search box shows the I-beam cursor, but clicking it will not actually focus the search box. In fact, clicking it and mistakenly starting to type assuming your click went through will focus the message box, and you'll end up writing a message with your intended search term.
