Apply Consistent Design Colors Across the Application #16
User Story: Applying Consistent Design Colors Across the Application
As a front-end developer, I want to apply a consistent color scheme across the application so that the user interface looks professional and visually cohesive.
Acceptance Criteria:
A primary color, secondary color, and accent color are selected based on the brand or desired aesthetics of the application.
The color scheme is applied consistently to key UI elements, including headers, buttons, navigation bars, links, and background sections.
The text color provides sufficient contrast to ensure readability on different background colors (e.g., dark text on light backgrounds and vice versa).
Hover states, active states, and disabled states for buttons and links are styled using variations of the chosen color palette.
Colors are defined in a central location (e.g., a CSS variables file, a theme file in Styled Components, or a similar method) to ensure maintainability and easy updates in the future.
The design is tested for color accessibility to ensure the interface meets WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) for color contrast.
