Automatic rollout of WinApp2.ini

Think WinApp2.ini should more often be rolled out...

Guess review and upload for rollout is now done by hand... (???) Think this should get automated...

Suggestions:

• Download and check if changes are done on WinApp2.ini daily;
• Keep new version back for e.g. 2 weeks (to see if there come regression to WinApp2.ini);
• After two weeks roll out new version to BB users.

Hope this can all be done with a simple script...

If you need a system to do that, I have a VPS running... I can give you even root access, if you need to e.g. create cron jobs or etc. ...

Note, possibility for future: Option in BB for getting and testing newest WinApp2.ini files immediately in BB and - if option not checked in settings - rollout after 2 weeks of rules are tested by "Beta Users".

The update is done using a simple script. It's mostly automated now.

Thanks for the offer, but I have a server with cron, etc.

What might work better is making some changes to use the upstream version directly. There were several reasons I originally set up a separate version (e.g., frequent errors in the upstream version, the way they hosted it, the way they tracked changes), but there are not as many reasons anymore.

Still, it would take a bit more work. For example, BleachBit doesn't support ExcludeKey#=REG
