Windows theme in version 3.0 #79

Hi all.

Is there any plan to improve the Windows theme in version 3.0? At the moment it looks out of place and does not look like a native program. It looks like it's using the client side decorations from GTK/gnome, or am I wrong? Version 2+ was OK, version 3+ could use some improvements. If not to restore the previous Windows theme then have some text under the buttons like "menu" "preview" and "clean". When I upgraded I had to think for a moment where the menu and buttons were. Of course I had looked beforehand what 3.0 was going to be like, but I still had to pause and think. Also the buttons are kind of small, you have to really be careful, especially the "preview" and "clean" is way too close to each other. And it only tells you what it is once you hover over it with your mouse. Like I said previously, there could be text under. Also the close, maximize and minimize buttons don't look native.

It could be a problem for new users. The user experience could be improved.

Yes, BleachBit through version 2.x used GTK 2, while BleachBit 3.x uses GTK 3. It's not the native experience on Microsoft Windows.

Try the BleachBit 3.1.0 beta release because it adds text to the toolbar. Is this what you're asking for?

There are some important issues to fix before the user interface, but I do understand it's important. It sounds to me like you're recommending a native Windows experience on Windows. Right?

@az0 Indeed. The native experience is always better than whatever the toolkit dictates. It's not a problem for me personally, but for someone else it might be, like I said I only had a minor hiccup with the UI.

I'm glad version 3.1.0 is already improved. I don't usually run beta software but I'm looking forward to the next release!

I also understand if it will take more development time to restore the native Windows experience, I hope it can be done, if it's not limited by the GTK3 toolkit.

Someone has built a GTK 3 theme that looks like Windows 10. Months ago I tried getting this theme or a similar theme working, but there were glitches.

I'll keep your suggestion in mind. For now, I'm moving this to the wishlist repo
