Issues of style should be listed there.

Try to have all tables have \toprule and \bottomrule and similar shape if reasonably possible.

All "constants" such as "SO", "USp" etc should be in roman font? Obviously use a unique macro name to make future font changes simple.

Switch to 272pt wide text area in 10pt font. For US letter fit two columns with 16pt margin between them and 27pt on either side, height 741pt using tight vertical spaces. For A4 paper, scale by 31/32 to get 263.5pt wide columns, again use 16pt margin between them and 27pt on either side, height 791pt using looser vertical spaces. Enforce identical page breaks by explicitly putting them in the source?? In "pocket book" size 4.25in x 6.88in scale by 27/32 to get 3.18in wide text area, height 425pt = 5.88in, such that three pocket book pages correspond to two columns of US letter.
