locale-gen issue preventing boot #114

Cannot boot after install. This is the only thing printed to the screen and it sticks here till I restart.

Can anyone help?

This was a near stock install of the kde environment with refind installed as listed in the appendix on the install documentation. Then I reinstalled the stock OS and ran the system track and chose the XFCE desktop to see if it was a KDE issue and the issue is the same.

Having the same problem here. In case it might help in troubleshooting, this has happened with most locales I've tried (dutch, en_gb & en_us), with a more consistent factor being my Belgian keyboard selection (although iirc I've also tried using French Azerty). If there's anything I can do to help troubleshooting, feel free to lmk!

This seems to be a very consistent issue with many people. I'm trying to collate all the different threads of issues to make development of fixing this issue easier.
