Feature Request - Trim Silence From Beginning And End #522

Right now I use dBpoweramp for file conversions in combination with rubyripper. 
 I know dBpoweramp offers the ability to remove silence and the beginning and 
end of the tracks while ripping.  I am wondering if that is something that can 
be implemented with rubyripper.
