Is there any way for your plugin to "call" portions of the huludesktop app to 
allow hulu playback, perhaps tricking the hulu backend to allow streams, even 
if the huludesktop does not launch? If your plugin calls portions of the 
huludesktop to allow huludesktop to do all the decrypting, and then playback 
uses standard XBMC players for playback?

That isn't the problem. we can still get the rtmp links. It is librtmp that 
needs updating to support the new handshake.
