Open milstan opened 2 years ago
@milstan I added this to the Q3 milestone and https://github.com/blindnet-io/devrel-management/issues/48 in Jun. I now realise you might have expected me to address it (as there isn't any assignee, I might have misunderstood you). Would you have any progress / new information to share in order to help me plan it?
I did not put an assignee as I thaught this is a task any technical person from our team could have done (myself included). Outreach to complementary open-source projects, as I repeated several times, is IMHO one of the possible ways to aim and bring attention to our products, generate usage, traction and success stories. And yes, I expected and it felt natural to me that you might be doing such outreach (not necessairly this issue but in general).
I don't have any progress / new information to share here. I currently don't have time to do it myself, so feel free if you want to do it and if you cosider it worth doing.
Thx for the detailed explanation. I've added this issue to my personal backlog with a slightly higher priority. FYI, right now it's the 54th issue in line (16th position on my backlog after 38 elements in my "ready to do" pile).
Anyone: feel free to address it sooner if you see fit.
What?
Reach out to PSI Transfer Project People to offer them our open-source tools in order to acheive end-to-end encryption.
It is an open-source We Transfer alternative.
Why?
They say "There is no (end-to-end) payload encryption (yet)." It is in our interest to promote our tools and have them used by other open source projects. It validates our product.
How?
Find the people involved online and write to them.
