PRCI collects consent for automatic processing

Description

When PCE automatically processes users Privacy Requests, it is a form of automatic processing that under GDPR requires special consent.

Intended outcome

The user is asked to consent for automatic processing of their request at the time of making the request (this is optional in PRCI).

When the cosent for automatic processing option is selected in PRCI, the PCE only responds automatically to requests if both of the following are true:

• configured to process the particular type of demand automatically
• user consented to automatic processing

Is this a consent required by the PCE (blindnet) or a particular system which is using the devkit?

It is not the role of blindnet DevKit to require anything. We only offer the systems using the devkit to accomodate their own requirements.

In other words "a particular system".
