Can't scan DVBT/T2 frequencies with DVBT2 tuner #81

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Try to scan DVBT/T2 frequencies (automatic or manual)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Be able to scan and tune to DVBT/T2 channels using T2 tuner

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Open AR-P 08-04-13 on Amiko Alien 2+.

Please provide any additional information below.

I am in the UK. The automatic scan only scans the first frequency in
terrestrial.xml. I tried a manual scan of the other frequencies in my area, but
it only ever reports finding the channels from the frequency scanned. Seems to
be some issue with the T2 drivers. Scanning works fine on HDMU.

I also tried loading a pre-scanned channel list backed up from HDMU, but many
channels don't appear, and there is an error message ('PID not found' I think
but I could be wrong).

This problem still exists on the latest image (01-2014). It seems that when
viewing a terrestrial channel, the system gets stuck on that particular mux.
You can view any other channel on that same mux, but trying to watch a channel
on a different mux results in the 'PID not found' message. Rebooting the box
clears things, but it gets stuck again next time a terrestrial channel is
viewed.
