It's time for Hacktoberfest 2022, and The Blitz team is excited to have you contribute to our project. Blitz is a community-first project, so that we couldn't miss out on an event like this. You can learn more about the community here. In our repository, you can find some beginner-friendly issues to work on! There are several repositories that you can contribute to:
If you're new to open source, here you can find a bunch of excellent resources and guides, including how to get started, submit a PR, and communicate: https://opensource.guide/.
Find an issue labelled with good first issue and status/ready-to-work-on. You're more than welcome to work on other issues as well (as long as they have a status/ready-to-work-on label). If you find one that looks interesting and no one else is already working on it, comment on the issue to claim it.
Start hacking away!
And last but not least: create a pull request π
What you can expect from us
Maintainers will review PRs each week, intending to include as many as possible in our releases and documentation.
Even if we don't manage to review your PR fully, we will still triage all of the contributions and we will add a hacktoberfest-accepted label.
We will close all the contributions violating our guidelines and code of conduct.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in our Discord community. There's a #hacktoberfest-2022 channel that you can use for any communication around the event. We are happy to help.
