Is it possible to build Blitzmax without using the blitzmax binary? #16

Oficially not, as the binary basically contains the compiler, and BlitzMax programs do not work without their compiler. But I guess you got trouble compiling the compiler (I had that too when doing that for Windows and I am lucky I still got an older version of the binaries, but frankly I am investigating other languages, as I have the feeling the Blitz family is abandoned) :-/

It is not abandoned, the next generation community continues to future proof the language, please close.

Hmm, I had a quick google for bmxng sites but couldn't find anything - have you got any links Si?

I had a quick google, should have done that before commenting as I think I misspoke. Found tumbleweed here https://github.com/bmx-ng
