refactor: Tech Debt from Sprint - Code Review Improvements

Description:

During the last sprint (sprint 30), we had to prioritize the delivery of a new feature, which resulted in code reviews being expedited and not as thorough as they should have been. To ensure code quality and maintainability, we need to address some of the technical debt incurred.

Tasks:

1. Review the changes made during the last sprint and identify areas that need refactoring.
2. Ensure code consistency, readability, and adherence to our coding standards.
3. Optimize any inefficient code or logic introduced.
4. Document any changes made during the refactoring process.

Acceptance Criteria:

• [ ] All identified issues from the last sprint are addressed and resolved.
• [ ] Code meets our quality and performance standards.
• [ ] Documentation is updated accordingly.
