Some kind of button that can be available on exams and for projects that let students "mark this submission as complete" and locks it. The student should be able to unlock the submission, but have to do so intentionally. This would be available after a Run, and would overtly save the submission and correctness in a blocking way, so they could have complete confidence that the assignment was saved.
