This is number one on our list of things to fix. But it's hard finding MT experts with the spare time to work on it.

And, no, the link was never there. It's always worked the way it does.

I don't think that either of those are the issue. I think the issue is that the front page is built from a blog that contains no blog posts. That is, the main "blogs.perl.org" blog is just an aggregation of posts from all of the other blogs.

But they talk of building paginated history/archive/older-index pages from the search results.

And we have search results:

This is one of our biggest long-standing gripes, already captured as issue #15. Please refer there.
