Donating via Liberapay #307

I am attempting to setup a recurring donation via Liberapay but I receive the following error:

'Cannot be renewed because the account of the recipient isn't ready to receive new payments.'

I though blokada went through donorbox. Can you actually do it through liberapay, I'm not sure

I followed the in-app link to their Liberapay account. Perhaps I am trying to donate in an unsupported currency?

Hello, Can you please let us know what currency do you try to donate? You can donate directly to the bank account as well, if everything else fail.

I attempted to donate in euros €. Yes I suppose I can always do that! I suspect my bank charges some considerable fees for international transfers however.

Liberapay says: The recipient's account is not ready to receive payments. Tried with € payment.

Hi, I have the same problem with euros and I think it's because you haven't configured either PayPal or Stripe (I would prefer it) in your LiberaPay settings. https://liberapay.com/<username>/payment/

To receive donations you must connect at least one account from a supported payment processor. This page allows you to do so.

Donors do not need to connect any payment account below, they are only necessary to receive money.

We recommend connecting both Stripe and PayPal if they're both available in your country.

I think this is because LiberaPay doesn't store money anymore and the donations are directly send to your account.
