Thats what Bluefin and Bazzite are using and it is straight up a lot better than TLP or PPD

PPD is PowerProfilesDaemon, to clarify for readers who don't know what it means.

I'm not sure if it's a lot better than PPD, since PPD can also control pstate & platform-profile simultaneously now. Though, this will land in Fedora 40.

Most people who observed the difference between PPD & tuned did not use the better version of PPD I outlined above.

Still, you're right that TLP is pretty much obsolete for general usecase & it should be replaced with tuned.

One thing to note, is that this will break the workflow for the users of this bling laptop module, who rely on specific TLP config
