6 years ago Firefox Preferences:
- Privacy and Security: disable both options under "Firefox data collection and use", so to speed up performance and not send any data
- Untick the “Use recommended performance settings” box, then use the dropdown to increase the Content process limit as far as “7.”
A user suggests a couple of configuration changes to make Firefox run smoother. Video playback should already be improved, but there are a couple of other, potentially useful options to enable.
Go through them one by one and evaluate whether they're worth preconfiguring.
