Hi Noah,

Sorry this took so long, but I put the files in the right place on my branch. I'm pretty sure all the code here works since I've been using it for some other projects. It'd be great if you could look it over.

I agree that it'd be good to break out the common functions but I think it'd be fine waiting to do that until the package architecture is a bit more ironed out. Looks like a nice feature! Thanks for making these updates.
