Can't export logs #57

On Samsung galaxy s23 ultra. Latest version of signalcheck pro. When I attempt to export the log files, the app says export failed, select valid log folder. I've tried multiple different locations but the app doesn't like any of them.

Tap the three dots, tap Logs and tap Select Log Folder. Create a new folder in the root of the Internal Storage, such as SCP. Once it's created tap use this folder. Accept. All your logs will be saved in that folder.

Please try what RyanThaDude suggested (thanks!).. this limitation is due to Android security policies that limit what folders third-party apps like SignalCheck can access.

I have a suggestion in issue #53 for an enhancement that would solve this issue by allowing SignalCheck Pro to create the log directory without any user intervention.

I tried this. The options are limited when you hit select log folder in the app. My file explorer shows me internal storage of the phone but from within the app, it starts me off in "Shawn's s23 ultra". I then made a folder called logs from within that. See attached. Screenshot_20240323_011238_Files

Within the same file Explorer click on Logs folder, and the USE THIS FOLDER button will be available.

I did that. No matter where I choose for the folder to go it tells me to select valid folder location. I've tried multiple locations. I have no problem getting the use this folder button to light up. I don't know what else I can possibly do.

Please try again and then send a diagnostic report from within the app (Help > Send Diagnostics) and include your name or e-mail address along with a brief note explaining this issue so I can locate it. Would like to get this resolved for you. Thanks!
