Is the update for webdriver version 2.45 planned ?

Yes, it should be released in a few days.
It will be available on GitHub as Google Code is shutting down:

Hello, I went to the GitHub link but it doesn't look like anything is there 
yet. Are you still working on an update for WebDriver 2.45? I can't run any 
test cases in the latest version of Firefox, and I believe it's due to the out 
of date WebDriver (version 2.44). Thanks.
