Cockpit joystick does not work with Ardupilot if it was open right after opening BlueOS #1338

This was reported by an user in our forums. In his words:

If I open the screen as per photo first (BlueOS main page), then open cockpit app (standalone), cockpit app does not work (the joystick is detected and works, but does not control the ROV). If I open cockpit app, then open the screen as per photo, then cockpit works.

I'm betting on something related to the process of downloading the vehicle parameters, as both BlueOS and Cockpit do that, and if Cockpit does not have it, it cannot control the ROV.
