Our docs for Ping1D speed of sound recommend using 1435m/s for fresh water, the Ping360 ones recommend 1450m/s for fresh water (correct at ~11C), and an online search yields 1480m/s (which is for 20C).
We should definitely at least have consistency across device types, but could avoid stating a particular number by instead linking to a speed of sound calculator, or integrating one into Ping Viewer (see #1003). We may also wish to implement a simpler calculator on the BR website to link to, instead of the NPL one.
