When using for first time MenuLibre works correctly being possible edit and add new menu launchers, but when trying use for second time all menu launchers are missing in list even menu launchers created by MenuLibre. See the screenshots

I suffered the same issue whit menulibre in Lubuntu, working OK the 1st time and then missing/mangling entries on subsequent ones to the point of just uninstalling.

That project was closed ? Not replies or any updates.

I experience the same on Lubuntu 22.04.1 x86_64 with MenuLibre 2.2.2. However, it only occurs if I edit a menu entry.

I found that it was creating the file ~/.config/menus/lxqt-applications.menu. If I delete that file & re-launch, the icons show up. It appears to be a sort of cache file & the program has some kind of issue parsing it, but there are no error messages.

Tested version 2023-06-11 b2c09e7. That problem continue happening.

I have uploaded an log showing message if MenuLibre was started in terminal command. Please MenuLibre your software create files in /home or other path ? If yes where are the files ? Perhaps removing any files created by MenuLibre can fix that problem.

Above have an reply about removing file ~/.config/menus/lxqt-applications.menu LUbuntu 20.04.6 not have ~/.config/menus/lxqt-applications.menu

Unhappily MenuLibre work only one time. Have an nice week.
